10th Annual Cycle of Service
May 3, 2019 @ 7:00AM — May 5, 2019 @ 2:30PM Eastern Time (US & Canada)
ARM's 10th bike ride across Alabama
Cycle of Service is an intense, fun 2 1/2 day, or one day bike ride across Alabama to raise awareness about poverty housing in Alabama. We ride 88-100 miles on Days 1 and 2 and complete with a final 56 miles leg for a total of 245 miles. The funds gained from cyclists' registration and sponsorships provide home repair assistance to families in Lee, Macon, and Sumter counties. It is also helping renovate a historic church in Tuskegee being converted into a community outreach center.
Our goal this year is to help complete Ms. Middlebrooks home. She needs a new roof and ceiling repair in her mobile home. Ms. Middlebrooks represents 1 out of 3 persons in our population living below the poverty line and one family of 20,000 with needed repairs in Lee County, Alabama! You can be the difference!
